Circumcision is practiced widely in the United States. It is sold to parents as a method of preventing the spread of infections and disease. With its origins rooted in the Jewish religion, circumcision was initiated by the Jews to set themselves apart from other groups of people. Today this ritual of circumcision continues and is widely practiced by many religions and has been adopted by the current medical system as a standard practice.
Watch the 15 minute video by Ken McGrath on the anatomy of the penis, penile and foreskin neurology, on YOU TUBE http://youtu.be/DD2yW7AaZFw
I love this article. Thanks for creating this Blog! I think that picture is adorable! I learned a lot from the you tube link.
This video had a wealth of information and my instincts say this is only the tip of what truly is! The truth, both mythic and scientific, behind the meaning of the male foreskin, circumcision, neuro-senses and glandular physiology and natural mental, emotional, physical health is eye opening! Wow all I kept thinking or seeing was images of Min (aka Ptah) on the hieroglyphs with this erect penis in full power, in addition, to ‘words’ like ‘Emotions’ and the ability or inability (as the case in circumcised men) to ‘Sense’ beyond lower chakras, senses, ideologies, behavior-isms, phenomena, et al. What an absolutely fascinating scientific (spiritual) subject! I had my twins, not knowing any of the scientific facts behind not circumcising, and chose NOT to circumcise simply because it ‘felt’ Natural to keep what the Creator made for the anatomy. ThAnkhs for this post! xo One Love, Ria
Thanks for this information Dr Pookrum, I am 73 years old and never circumcised and I am very thankful that I wasn’t. When I was young I was a bit ashamed and tried to conceal that fact. But as I got older and started having sex I realize it was a tremendous benefit to my sexual experience. Before and during orgasm the feelings were so intense that I would shout to high heaven, which always embarrassed my partner and eventually my wife. I tried to be cool but it was so good I couldn’t contain myself. At one point I thought there was something wrong with me but I survived and I really miss that feeling now that age has caught up to me. Thanks to your information I feel vindicated. It is a crime to take that away fro men.
